Vaginal Dryness from Depo KILLING my sex life !?
So I’ve been off Depo for about a year and a half now and I am still having vaginal dryness! All together its been about 2 and a half years I’ve been suffering from it. Seems like I’m the only person who’s gotten this from using depo. But I noticed that last month when I was pregnant (i had a miscarriage), my dryness went away for the 3 weeks I knew I was pregnant. Should i be taking prenatals? And lubricants don’t work they just irritate me unless I need to buy the more expensive kind. We’ve been using saliva & oral sex instead. . HELP PLEASE! I wanna be able to "get wet" and aroused and I can’t. Depo has also killed my sex drive. = ( My boyfriend of 3 years has coped with it, but its killing me ! I feel like im 50 And I’m only 19 ! Educated answers pleasseee = )

Drug store sells all kinds of personal lubricants that are pleasant smelling, they are about $7 for a little tube, they are by the condoms, if you are embarassed go late at night.

go talk to your doctor about it. i don’t know if you’ve been sexually active since 16 or not, but perhaps it has nothing to do with the depo at all. i wouldn’t think it would have a permanent effect on you for this long. your doctor would have better answers and be able to check why this would be happening. perhaps your not getting an orgasm for medical reasons

its definatley the depo,i had the same problem,although it didnt last aslong,it went a way when u was pregnant because of the change in hormones,there isnt really anything i can think of except try a diffrent contraceptive,if ur trying for a baby then it will go away in time ur bodys still getting back to normal especially after the miscarriage,if it hasnt gone get a check up to make sure ur hormones are balanced.
