How to deal with killing emotional depression?
Im 15 now and im terrible depressed. school is the worlds worst hell hole for me. Im more of a loner i guess. i dont have that many friends and the friends that i do have are busy 24/7. I dont have a mother, i mean she didnt want me and ran off. I was raised by my dad. I so happy and privilegde that had a father to have stepped up to be a mother and a father because i could have dropped off at so fostercare. So hear goes my story, everything was so perfect in the beginging my father states. they lived a happy life. they were happy to be having a baby. so the big day comes and im born, but suprisely i had a twin that they didnt know about. (i know a little koko he said that they didnt go to the doctor as often) So my brother died at birth. sometimes i believe that why she thought she couldnt take care of me becuz she thinks that she would been a bad mother. (but idk) So she left when i was 3. then my granny took over. she was the best person ever imagiable. my father work for the state police so i needed to be tooken care of. but when she couldnt i was toss around to babysitter to babysitter to co worker to co worker to nbor to nbor. sometimes going to work with my dad. Then my granmother died at the age of 6. the only person i had left was my dad. so now im being really tossed around. for a while i did feel like a foster kid just because i was with everyone upset my did. My mother is chemically embalance. that means she cant control anything that she does. so for a while she would make false reports that i was kidnapped. which caused problems for my dad. after a while bills and lawsuit and problem caught up to my dad and he couldnt do it anymore. we were homeless.my dad and i would sleep in the car at truckstops on the high way. everyday he would take me to burger king or a hot dog stand for breakfast (real healthy lol) then drop me off at school. years later age 9 my dad found love again with this crazy lady. (she stole probably still from the dollar store). she was a mean gold digger. we move out of town. for 5 year it was more hell for me arguing and being called names at school. (she looks ragy, and dirty). Many times our water, electro, gas, tv, whatever got turn off and we had to ask water from our nbors. i still was alone in my new school. ( just to tell you this isnt the only place i moved. i have been to 13 schools.) Sometimes i dont understand how people can be so mean. they dont even now you. i feel like if i was to tell them i wouldnt mean a damn thing. Alot times i start to hate myself when im by myself i wish i wasnt here anymore. as in living. i hate to think like that but it happens thank you for reading this. sometimes it better for strangers hear your story then people you know. o yea im a girl

I’ve kinda had a similar life to you.. things were so great as a kid and everything just went down into my teens. Not fair at all. Anyways, with killing your depression, you should focus on the positive things in your life (there must be some good, right?!) Also, do positive things. If this depression gets really bad.. go to the doctor. hope I helped.. And your not the only one who has had a harder life. Many people also have it much worse than you. Set goals for yourself.

Someone said the weirdest thing to me….wondering if it's true. Am I motivated?
My guidance counselor tells me that I’m motivated because I’m a straight A student, and my schedule is rigorous; but I beg to differ. I’m also taking a free SAT Prep class. In middle school, I got B’s and the straight A’s are a new occurrance for me. My schedule is rigorous, but that’s only because the administrators at my school force me to take rigorous classes. I don’t get out of them because I do well, so I’m like, "What’s the point of leaving them then?"

Algebra 2 Honors
Health Science 1 Honors
Biology Honors
Spanish 1
P.E.
English 1 Honors

Did I mention that I’m a freshman?

I plan on taking 10 AP courses, but that’s only because I don’t want to pay for college. I’ve got it in my mind that the admission officers will be so impressed by the rigor of my courses and will insist that I attend their college for free. (A girl can have a dream, can’t she?) I can’t afford college, so I’m taking the most rigorous courses I can and aceing them so I won’t have to pay for it.

I’m a straight A student. I’m taking the hardest classes in my school. I’m already preparing for the SAT. Am I really motivated? Is this what motivation feels like?

I don’t think that I’m motivated because I barely study. For some classes, I study on the day of the test (sometimes even a period before I have the test) but I still get over 95% on it. After I do my homework, I usually kick back and watch a movie, or I go on my laptop. Sometimes, I finish my homework on the morning that it’s due.

Based on the movies you did like, it seems you like movies with a lot of action. Therefore, I’m not so sure if you’ll like Let The Right One In (although I loved it, most of my friends found it too slow). You can buy it from amazon http://www.amazon.com/Let-Right-One-Lina -Leandersson/dp/B001MYIXAC/ref=sr_1_1?ie =UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1264431249&s r=8-1 but it is a Swedish movie, so you need to either turn on the English dubbing, or watch with English subtitles. I’ve seen it both ways and highly recommend watching it subtitled, as the dubbing is off in way of translation and the voices just don’t fit the characters well. They are currently remaking a US version of it, so you could always wait for that to come out…but I’m sure Hollywood is just going to butcher it.

The best vampire movie I ever saw was The Night Stalker from 1972. It had plenty of scenes where the vampire beats the daylights out of cops trying to arrest him!
Another good superhuman movie is The Dark from 1979. A lot of people think it was slow, but it has some really cool scenes with the creature kicking ass with extreme power and laser vision.
